Merge, split, rotate, crop, watermark, page numbers, image-to-PDF, sign, fill-form, and extract/delete pages all work on your device. Online tools upload only after you agree. Permanent removal of hidden content is not available.

For on-device tools, your PDF files, documents, text, and signatures never leave your device. Online tools upload only after you agree.

📂 Which tools keep files on your device

No upload: merge, split, extract/delete pages, rotate, crop, watermark, page numbers, image-to-PDF, sign, fill/make form fields permanent, on-device compress/repair, normalize, multiple pages per sheet, Bates numbering, PDF→JPG/PNG, text/Markdown to PDF, and document information viewer.

Upload only after you agree: online compress/repair, protect, unlock, Word↔PDF, Excel↔PDF, and OCR. The related Image Sparrow tools include HEIC→JPEG, PSD→PNG, and web page screenshots.

How long uploads are kept: uploaded files and temporary copies are deleted as soon as processing finishes or fails. The result is kept only until you download it, or for up to five minutes if it is abandoned. Recognized OCR text is not stored, and we do not keep a document archive.

Not available: permanently removing hidden content from covered areas.

Zero Personal Data Collection: We do not collect accounts, tracking profiles, or a document archive. On-device tools never upload. Online tools do not keep uploads after processing finishes.

💾 Saved Preferences & Settings

PDF Sparrow saves basic interface preferences, such as accent color, light/dark theme, and recently used tools, on this device. You can clear them at any time.

🌐 No Tracking or Ad Networks

We do not embed third-party ad networks or tracking scripts. PDF Sparrow is designed to remain a clean, distraction-free utility.
